Just a reminder – the Astrophysics SIG meets this Friday at 7:30 in the classroom behind the Centennial Heritage Museum. We’ll be continuing with videos from the series by Alex Fillipenko on astronomy and by and Richard Wolfson on “Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity for Non-Scientists.” Don Lynn is back from vacation and will be bringing a bigger collection of pictures than he brought to the general meeting, for those present to view and discuss, and we’ll have our usual discussions of current events and issues of interest coming out of the videos, as well as socializing.
