Skies have been clear and dark lately here in Orange County so we should have a great star party Saturday!

Would you just like to do some night sky viewing on your own and you don’t have a telescope? Our Loaner Scope program has just been restocked.
Dress for cold weather and come on out to our friendly near-town star party. The winter skies are dark and full of fun objects to observe.
The OCA offers Beginner’s classes to both members and non members. Classes meet on the first Friday of most months.
First BSC star party of 2013 was very cold but we had 9 brave souls come out even though there was some overcast skies.
Come on out to our first 2013 star party at Black Star Canyon. You can’t go wrong as it is nearby and always friendly.
We only had 11 cars come out to Black Star this past Saturday evening, even though skies were dark and clear.
If the Mayan calendar is correct, this will be the last BSC star party ever!?
