Anza Site Wireless Internet System

A report by Liam Kennedy

Over the past few weeks OCA Member Jerry Mulchin and I have been busy putting the final touches to the new wireless network system at our Anza observing site. This system allows any member to access the Internet from just about anywhere on our 20 acre observing site.

If you would like to try out this new system please visit the Wireless Beta Program page in the Members area of our web site (you will need to login using your Member ID and password).

OCA Member Jerry Mulchin personally designed and built the high-gain external antenna and the external mounting box.

I recommend you take a look at his work when you are next out at Anza.

Well done - and thank you Jerry!

OCA Member Jerry Mulchin has done an incredibly professional job in setting up the wireless access hardware.
