I went out to the gate at about 5:15 pm this evening and waited a half hour, but the cloudy conditions were pretty bad and there was even drizzle up in Silverado Canyon, according to Hassi. I put a note on the gate and left at 6 pm.  Looks like we will have to wait until the end of this month, March 29th for another star party try at Black Star Canyon.
