The July Starbecue, OPT's Southern California Astronomy Expo, our "How to Use Your Telescope" class, change in dates for the September and October general meetings and Astrophysics meetings, and the updating of the policies and procedures related to member observatories.

This is the complete June President's Message - unfortunately, part of it got omitted from the Sirius Astronomer accidentally.

It was overcast last Saturday evening and the only thing I could see at 7:30 PM was the sun setting and then it too was hidden by clouds.

We had 56+ people at the star party Saturday evening including 10 Nature Conservancy guests and 10 guests from the Santiago Canyon Astronomy course Hassi teaches. It was a mild evening and everyone seemed to have a great time.
