Additional Information NGC 3718, an 11.4-magnitude spiral galaxy in Ursa Major. This galaxy is located just below the bowl of the Big Dipper. Note the unusually symmetric S-shaped dust cloud wrapping around the nucleus. The inner portions of two spiral arms are also faintly visible. A 60-second image taken on 4 March 1994 at 11:32 UT.
