Additional Information NGC 3976, a 12th-magnitude near edge-on spiral galaxy in Virgo. The small faint galaxy near the top is MGC 1-31-1A (PGC 37490), a 16.4-magnitude spiral galaxy. A 60-second image taken on 14 March 1994 at 09:35 UT.
