OCA Elections: Call for Nominations
Posted On November 15, 2005
The annual OCA election cycle has begun, to select the Officers and Trustees who will guide the club and manage its business affairs during 2006. If you would like to participate in the club’s leadership, or know someone who is willing and interested, nominations are being accepted until the close of the December 9th OCA meeting. Nominations may be made via e-mail to Barbara Toy (btoy@cox.net), or made in person at the December meeting.
Voting takes place at the January OCA meeting. “Absentee” ballots may be mailed in prior to the January meeting. Voting instructions, and downloadable absentee ballots, will be available on the OCA website in late December.
Qualifications:
Each Trustee shall be a member in good standing, shall have been a member of OCA for at least one full year, and be at least 18 years of age.
Officers must meet the same qualifications as Trustees. In addition, candidates for President and Vice-President must either be current members, or have served at least one year as a member of the Board of Trustees prior to election to office.
