We had 15 cars come out and about 25 people enjoyed a nice dark sky. The highlight of the evening was a very bright UFO that turned out to be a USN missile test.
New Moon in a few days means we will have dark skies for star parties. Come on out before Thanksgiving and lets enjoy observing objects in the Milky Way and beyond.
We had 21 cars come to the star party and unfortunately the sky clouded over about 9 pm.
Should be another warm, clear night for our near-town BSC star party. Come on out and enjoy viewing objects in the night sky.
On September 19 a group of OCA members observed the skies through the historic 100 inch Hooker Telescope on Mount Wilson
Another great BSC star party with clear dark skies and warm weather. We had 28 cars come out and counted about 45 people.
After a week of cloudy skies, Saturday is supposed to be warm and clear. So join us at the nearby BSC star party.
The last Summer BSC star party was warm & clear with 23 cars and around 40 people attending.
