The last BSC star party of 2007 turned out great…but started off cloudy & was cold.
As the December meeting of the Astroimagers SIG coincides with the Christmas holiday season, there will be no /about_oca/special_interest_groups/AstroImagers/ meeting in December. The meetings will continue on the regular schedule in January.
Be sure and make the last Black Star Canyon star party of 2007…it will be a dark 3rd QTR moon night.
As the third Friday of December falls on the 21st and coincides with the Christmas holiday season, there will be no /about_oca/special_interest_groups/Astrophysics/ meeting in December. The meetings will continue on the regular third Friday schedule in January.
HAS YOUR INTEREST IN ASTRONOMY, COME TO THE POINT WHERE, YOU’RE THINKING OF IT, MIGHT BECOME A HOBBY? The OCA is now starting a “Beginners Forum” before the monthly meetings at 7 PM-7:20 PM in the foyer. It will be a place for you to ask questions about Astronomy as a hobby, equipment, sources for viewing of objects or even questions about the club. An experienced club member will be in attendance to answer your questions.

We had 17 cars and clear skies all night long!
Looks like we will get a dark clear sky this Saturday…so come on out to the 1st fall star party.
