The first OCA star party of 2009 looks very promising…with a clear dark sky and warmer temps than normal for January!
We had 17 cars come out on a clear but cold winter night.
Don’t miss the last Black Star Canyon star party of 2008. We can call it a Christmas star party…a gift to yourself.
Unfortunately, much of the evening was cloudy…and we had a lot of visitors and some new OCA members come out.
Just before Thanksgiving, we should have a very dark evening at the near-by BSC star party.
It was cloudy Satuday evening… but one family did drive out and we saw a few objects… including a bob cat!
Looks like we will have another warm, clear star party at Black Star Canyon before the fall/winter season.

We had 21 cars come out on a warm evening that stayed clear up until about 9:30 PM. Everyone had a great time!
