11/07/09 BSC star party recap
Posted On November 9, 2009
It was not too cold and we did get to see all three planets in my small ETX 125 scope. The ISS went over at 5:54 right on time and brightened as it went directly overhead. Kyle showed everyone the Ring Nebula (M57) and the Lyra Double Double. Others showed the Andromeda Galaxy (M31), the pretty Alberio double star and many other objects I had talked about in my night sky tour so the guests had a great time.
But then it clouded over and everyone shut down and packed up at 7:30 pm. Still we all felt it was a good star party and had a lot of fun.
