Additional Information NGC 288, an 8th-magnitude globular cluster in Sculptor. This globular is located 1-3/4 degrees from NGC 253, the Sculptor Galaxy. Both objects can be viewed in the same field of view at low power. Near the left edge of this image, a small faint galaxy, PGC 03068, can be seen. A 30-second image taken on 13 July 1994 at 11:22 UT.
