Friday January 4th, 2019 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana

Do you have a new telescope? Do you have a telescope sitting around that you've never quite learned how to use? Come to the Orange County Astronomers' free class on how to use your new (or unused) telescope. You will get expert help on how to set up and operate it so you too can enjoy the wonders of the night sky.

You can bring any type of telescope. Members of the OCA will help you to do more with your telescope in just one hour or so of instruction than you could do on your own in several months.

The class is held in front of the classroom behind the main buildings at the Heritage Museum of Orange County, 3101 W. Harvard Street, Santa Ana. Harvard crosses Fairview about midway between Edinger and Warner, and the museum is about a half a block west of Fairview. The driveway is on the western side of the museum property, and you enter through wrought iron gates that should be open when you arrive; if they are locked, please wait for them to be opened. Parking is at the back, near the classroom. We plan to have the class even if it is cloudy.

To get the most out of the class, please try to setup your telescope at least once beforehand, so you will know what problems you are having in particular.

We look forward to seeing you and your telescope! Please check our calendar for the latest on the status of the class.
