The talk is called "George Ellery Hale: MIT and the Road to Palomar". It focuses on Hale's college years and how important they were to all that Hale did afterwards, from his own specialty, solar observing, to the development of Yerkes Observatory to Mount Wilson to Cal Tech and on to Palomar.
