As an amateur astronomer & landscape astrophotographer Wally Pacholka has made it his mission to showcase the exceptional beauty of the night sky over America famous parks and landmarks.
Continuing his series "America the Beautiful at Night" he will present stunning night photographs of his recent night hiking tours of over 30 national parks from the stunning coasts of Hawaii to the Great Smoky Mountains and Alaska.
In addition to his stunning images, he will share his techniques that has enabled his photographs to be some of the most published astronomy photographs worldwide that has helped pioneered a whole new field of Photography, Landscape Astro-Photography.
Pacholka is an amateur astronomer that specializes in landscape astrophotography of America's national parks and landmarks.
He has popularized this unique astrophography method with countless local, national and international publications such as 47 APOD's, National Geographic 28x, TIME-LIFE Magazine 17x including 3 Picture of Year editions. In 2018 he earned one of Astronomy's highest honors, the Bruce Blair Award for his Pioneering work in Landscape AstroPhotography of National Parks.
