How do we observe something we cannot see?

How do we "see" a black hole? How do we look for something that tis invisible? This talk will tell you a story of how astronomers at UCLA found a supermassive black hole in the center of our own Milky Way Galaxy by observing stars around it that get strongly accelerated.

Dr. Shoko Sakai is an Assistant Research Astronomer and Assistant Adjunct Professor at UCLA.
